3. Contact form

When you contact us via the contact form, your details (name, email address, message) are stored to process your enquiry. This data will not be shared with third parties without your consent. Data is deleted once it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and no statutory retention obligations apply.

The contact form is technically operated via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Ste 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). 4. Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we process your email address on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use a double opt-in process: after signing up, you will receive a confirmation email and will only be added to our list after clicking the confirmation link. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by emailing info@horizonandhedgepress.com. Your data will be deleted promptly upon withdrawal of consent.

For sending newsletters, we use the service Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 7 rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, France). Brevo processes your email address under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR solely for the purpose of sending the newsletter. For more information, see Brevo's privacy policy.

This website contains links to Amazon (amazon.de and amazon.com) and to books2read.com, a service operated by Draft2Digital, LLC (Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA), through which our books can be purchased at further retailers such as Kobo, Apple Books, and Tolino. When you click one of these links, you leave our website. Data processing on those platforms is the sole responsibility of the respective provider and is subject to their privacy policy.

6. Cookies and server data

This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics services (such as Google Analytics). No user profiles are created. When the site is accessed, our host Netlify automatically collects information in server log files (e.g. browser type, operating system, referrer URL, IP address). This is technically necessary to display the website and ensure stability (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
